The Cat and the Moon
In a little house in Ein Karem lives a cat named Luna.
Every night, Luna looks up at the sky.
She sees the big white moon. Luna says: “What is that? Is it a bowl of milk?”
Luna jumps onto the wall... but the moon is far, far away.
Her mother comes and says: “The moon is not milk, little one. The moon is the lamp of the night.”
Luna drinks her warm milk and falls asleep under the light of the moon.
